Can Dark Souls Remastered Play With Prepare to Die
The remaster is the better version: native 1900x1080, 60 frames per 2d, Dark Souls 3'southward estus flask system for phantoms, functional multiplayer.
The Set up to Die Edition require mods to look decently and for the multiplayer to work.

Thanks for the respond. Is it true remastered is full of hackers and what not?

Ahahaha.
Ahahahahahahahahahaha.

Ah, sad about that.
Long respond short yep, the online is full of hackers; hacker-wise information technology may be the worst launch of a Souls game I've seen.
Y'all should practise backups of your salve file often, or avoid the online. The game is a singleplayer title first and foremost so you aren't missing much.

Thanks again. I'm gonna save my money and play prepared to die lmfao :D
Shouldn't remastered just exist a patch for it anyways? ;$)
Shouldn't remastered but be a patch for it anyways? ;$)
Yes and no. Information technology basically is a PC port of the PS4 port of the original game and so technically isn't the same game, only at the same fourth dimension it is how the original PC port should had been in the first place.
That said, you're well-nigh to embark on a hell of an adventure. If you're going to play the Set up to Dice Edition, you lot need a mod named DSFix for the game to play at a decent resolution and a modern named DSCM for the multiplayer to piece of work correctly.

If you lot loathe setting up dsfix and other tools/utilities then I'd recommend ownership remastered while on sale. Yeah, information technology has hackers, merely then does PTDE.
Yeah, it has hackers, but and so does PTDE.
But PTDE isn't even remotely as bad as Remastered is right now.
I but got hacked one time as a phantom (I rarely summon people), but at to the lowest degree iii/4 of the people that summoned me before Anor Londo had a lovely parasite egg on their head equally early equally the undead parish, and the Steam forum has been full of people lament about their characters being ruined, softbans and refunds.
Only Prepared has actress content, not just better visuals/optimization/etc...no?Kinda apples & oranges.
Both games take the same content, barre some extra bonfires in the remaster. The remaster is improve than PtdE in every style, merely up to OP if he wants to buy the game over again. I'd do it in a heartbeat.
Prepare to dice does have a cool halo modern for cool pvp. and that mod too removes all restrictions for mp and then you can summon your buddies anywhere fifty-fifty firelink.
Other than that i would say dsr is better to play.
Both games have the same content, barre some extra bonfires in the remaster. The remaster is better than PtdE in every fashion, just up to OP if he wants to buy the game again. I'd do it in a heartbeat.
Because the thread is 2 years old and there'southward notwithstanding no mouse next to OP's name, I remember it'south safe to say they finished PtdE by now and aren't planning to purchase the Remastered.

Notwithstanding, the question was of my own experience and wondering. Maybe someone else volition do good nonetheless, since I got my answer, also. :)
3 twelvemonth old thread. But information technology boils down to this:
I prefer PvE: DS:R is amend.
I adopt PvP: PTDE is better.
I adopt co-op with friends: DS:R is better.
I want to exist carried by my phantoms: DS3 is ameliorate.
I think DS3 is the best game in the series: I consume crayons.

Considering the thread is ii years onetime and there's still no mouse next to OP's name, I think it's safe to say they finished PtdE by now and aren't planning to buy the Remastered.
This. Why did I get 7 new comments over three days on a 3 year old post XD (I see I fifty-fifty marked a mail service that answered my question)
But yes, I played ptde and finished information technology ages ago. Didn't feel the demand to buy a game I already endemic and had never played.
Had a lot of fun and only broke one monitor. GL all

If y'all get dsfix, the remaster is mostly worse. Mostly bad graphics enhancements that brand the game look less tasteful, I watched the entire game comparison on youtube. Merely in case anyone was wondering.
